The three boys in Count Your Blessings are actually based on my own three sons, Greg, Adam and Scott. It was a lot of fun to write their characters. Teacher’s Pet is one of those special books that, even though I wrote it and know what’s going to happen, it still makes me laugh and cry. I wish I had a daughter like Whitney. There’s also a bit of a character crossover from Angel of Mercy.
